Private Instruction with Jie Bu, Founder & Director
Mr. Bu has been active in the international music education community for nearly 40 years, with performances at Beijing Concert Hall and Carnegie Hall's Weill Hall. A pre-college piano teacher whose students have won top competition honors and gained admission to Ivy League schools, he is a two-time recipient of the US Presidential Scholars Program's Outstanding Teacher award. Because Mr. Bu maintains a strictly limited, small-scale studio, each student receives sustained, individualized attention.
Private instruction with Mr. Bu goes beyond standard tuition: lessons are tailored around each student's specific goals, whether that's preparing for a competition, a college audition, or simply deeper musical growth. Students work directly with the Academy's founder, benefiting from decades of experience training award-winning musicians, with flexible scheduling built around a strictly limited studio.
Private instruction with Mr. Bu is available at the following monthly rates:
45 minutes/week — $398 per month
60 minutes/week — $498 per month
